Sara's passion for horses and animals began at a young age when her mother sent her to horse camp, sparking a lifelong love that would shape her journey.
Originally from Massachusetts, she began volunteering at a therapeutic riding program, where she spent over 10 years making a difference in the lives of others. Sara’s dedication was recognized when she became the first volunteer to be inducted into the Volunteer Hall of Fame for logging over 10,000 hours of service.
As she grew older, she worked on barns in exchange for lessons, diving deeper into her equestrian interests. Initially focused on hunter/jumpers, Sara later transitioned to eventing, where she honed her skills and competed with a passion.
In 2022, Sara moved to Colorado, seeking new opportunities and a change of scenery. By 2023, she had settled in the scenic Roaring Fork Valley, where she continues to nurture her love for animals and the outdoors.
Outside of her equestrian pursuits, Sara is also a proud pet owner, sharing her home with her dog, Ginger, and two playful goats, BamBam and Jinx. Whether it's training horses, volunteering, or spending time with her animals, Sara is always eager to learn and grow in her connection with the natural world.
